Overview

Do you need to capture 3D positions of your microphone when you carry out measurements ? Do you also need to get impactful visuals of acoustic field ?

MAPPING-ISO uses the depth camera of Kinect sensor to capture microphone positions. The method consists in capturing a position each time the right hand is closed. Then MAPPING-ISO overlays a calibrated photo with isosurfaces of the acoustic field in order to get an augmented reality in acoustics of the scene.
